In December 2001, all the lawyers of the Firm visited Singapore on an investigation tour of its lawyering, and formally started to thinking about and probing into internationalization of its practice.

In May 2000, the Firm was granted the title of Civilized Law Firm by the Judicial Department of Jiangsu Province and a second-class merit was recorded for the collective of the Firm by the same organ.

In March 2000, Cambridge Forum, which represents the academic level of the lawyers, started publication.

In December 1999, the Firm was inspected by Mr. Duan Zhengkun, Undersecretary of the Justice Ministry of China, and Mr. Gao Zongze, Chairman of All China Lawyers Association.

In September 1999, the Firm moved into Wudu hotel, enlarged its business area to 600 square meters, and set up office network and automation, thus changing its operation style from workshop type to large-scale development.

In March 1998, the Firm clarified its development orientation as providing legal services mainly within the scope of civil and commercial issues and chiefly by means of non-litigation.

In November 1996, the Firm was established by founding partners Mr. Hedan, Mr. Yan Wenji and Mr. Wu Haichun, and subsequently Mr. Zhao Yunfeng and others joined the partnership.
